WESTCAS holds three conferences each year at different locations throughout our member’s western states to provide our membership with: the opportunity to gain new knowledge from high quality presentations, panel discussions, and one-on-one member networking; accomplish hands-on work that results in tangible work products during WESTCAS committee meetings; and most importantly enjoy each others company and the conversations that occur during these events. Join us for the 16th WESTCAS Annual Meeting June 25-27, 2008, at the Kona Kai Resort in San Diego, California. Keynote speakers will be the Honorable Robert Johnson, Commissioner, Bureau of Reclamation, and Dr. Timothy Quinn, Executive Director, Association of California Water Agencies. Commissioner Johnson will address "The Colorado River, a Change in the Operational Climate, New Policies," and Dr. Quinn will focus on the new direction of environmental policy. The Honorable Grace Napolitano, Chair, House Water and Power Sub-Committee, is also invited to speak at the event.

Hotel Information:
The hotel has provided a special rate of $159.00 plus tax, single or double occupancy. The room block dates are Tuesday, June 24, 2008 through Friday, June 28, 2008. Reservations can be made by calling the hotel at 800-566-2524. Attendees should identify themselves as being with the WESTCAS group.
